One coat over a light base and the armor plates were done — no layering needed, which saves me a ton of time on squads. The 18ml pot is small but a little goes far with how thin this stuff is.
The orange goes on so smooth over a white base and the shading kind of settles in the recesses on its own. I used it on my Stormcast cloaks and got a solid base, shade, and highlight in one pass. An 18ml pot goes further than I expected too.
Didn't expect one coat to actually look finished, but this orange laid down smooth over grey primer and the recesses shaded themselves. Dries fast enough that I got through a whole squad in an evening. 18ml won't last forever at this rate.
