Quick Answer
For most collectors, the Mofusand Shrimp Meow blind box is the best starting point: it's affordable, cute, and offers five quirky designs. If you want more variety and a higher price point, the Hippers 2 Shrimp Meow series adds more detailed costumes.
What Makes Each Mofusand Series Different
Mofusand blind boxes come in several series, each with its own theme and price. The Shrimp Meow series focuses on cats with fried shrimp motifs, while the Hippers series features cats peeking out with their bottoms and tails on display. The Fluffy Pajama series uses a special flocked texture for a soft feel.
Price differences reflect the complexity and size of the figures. Shrimp Meow is the most budget-friendly, while Hippers is a step up. Knowing the theme and price helps you pick a series that matches your taste and budget.
Mofusand Blind Box FAQ
- What is inside a Mofusand blind box?
- Each box contains one random figure from the series. The exact figure is unknown until you open it, which is part of the fun. Check the series lineup before buying to know which designs you might get.
- How do I avoid duplicates?
- Since it's random, duplicates are possible. Consider buying a full case if available, or trade with other collectors. Some series have a 'no duplicate' guarantee in a full box, but confirm with the retailer. If you're a completionist, ask about case options or trade groups.
- Which Mofusand series is best for beginners?
- The Shrimp Meow series is a great entry point due to its lower price and simple, cute designs. The Hippers series is a good next step if you want more detail. Start with Shrimp Meow to test your interest before investing in pricier series.
