Went on smoother than I expected over a black undercoat, and one thin layer already looked solid on my guardsmen. The matt finish is properly flat too, no chalky patches like some base paints leave.
I've tried a few different off-white base coats before, but this one covers in just one thin layer thanks to its smooth matt finish. It goes on evenly without any chalky texture, which is exactly what I need for my Warhammer infantry.
The pigment concentration is excellent—one coat covers nicely over black primer. Dries to a smooth, flat finish that takes washes perfectly. This is my go-to for any bone or desert armor.
