One coat over a white base and my grimy trench lines basically painted themselves. The 18ml pot goes further than I expected too, and it doesn't dry out on the palette like some of my other contrast stuff.
Ratling Grime has become my go-to for dirtying up cloaks and armor in one pass, no layering needed. Only gripe is it dries a touch glossier than I'd like on flat surfaces, so I hit those with a matte varnish after.
The single-coat shading on my Chaos warriors saved me at least an hour per unit, and it settles perfectly into the recesses. Only gripe is the pot feels small for the price, but the coverage is efficient enough that I'm not going through it as fast as I feared.
