This purple covers way better than I expected for a base paint, one solid coat and the coverage is already opaque. The matt finish dries flat and smooth, no chalkiness at all. 12ml doesn't sound like much but a little goes a long way on capes and banners.
One coat over a black primer and my Space Marines' cloaks already look solid, no streaky patches like I usually get with purples. The matt finish dries flat in maybe twenty minutes, which is quick enough to keep a batch going.
