The coverage is so smooth that I only needed one pass to get that fiery orange glow onto my chaos warriors. The water-based formula also cleaned up easily with just a damp brush, which saved me a lot of time during a long painting session.
One coat over a grey seer undercoat and the gradient from deep orange to bright yellow just appears on its own—the single-application formula really does the shading work for you. The 18ml pot lasted through a whole squad of ten with plenty left for touch-ups.
The red pops so vividly over a white base that my fire demon’s skin looks like it’s actually glowing. I only needed one pass to get a solid base, shade, and highlight done on the whole model, which saved me a ton of time. The 18ml pot is small, but a little goes a long way for sure.
