Ratling Grime has become my go-to for dirtying up cloaks and armor in one pass, no layering needed. Only gripe is it dries a touch glossier than I'd like on flat surfaces, so I hit those with a matte varnish after.
The single-coat shading on my Chaos warriors saved me at least an hour per unit, and it settles perfectly into the recesses. Only gripe is the pot feels small for the price, but the coverage is efficient enough that I'm not going through it as fast as I feared.
The 18ml pot runs out faster than I expected, though the single-coat shading effect is decent for basic tabletop minis. It's convenient for batch painting but not a miracle worker.
