Shyish Purple over a light basecoat gave me a moody violet that shaded itself in the recesses without any extra layering. One dip of the brush covered a whole cloak, and the 18ml pot has barely gone down after a squad of minis.
The purple goes on so smooth and one coat actually covers the base, shading and highlight on cloaks in one pass. The 18ml pot feels small but a little goes a long way with the water-based formula.
The single coat coverage is genuinely handy for batch painting rank and file troops, though on bigger flat areas it can pool a bit and needs a quick tidy up. Still, one pass and the shading is basically done, which saves me a ton of time.
