Tutorial: Contrast Paints
Bases, shades, and highlights your models with a single application
Water-based formula
Pot size: 18ml
Didn't expect a single coat to actually cover this well, but the green came out smooth with no blotchy patches on my Ork boyz. The 18ml pot is smaller than I'd like for the price, though it genuinely saves time since I skip the base and highlight steps.
One coat over a light base and my Striking Scorpions are tabletop ready in minutes, no layering needed. The 18ml pot goes further than I expected too, since a little contrast paint spreads a long way on infantry.
One coat over a white base gave my Ork boyz a solid green with shading already in the recesses, which saved me a ton of layering time. The 18ml pot is small but goes further than I expected since you barely need any on the brush.
