The matt finish on this is exactly what I wanted for the flat armour panels on my Scorpion. Two thin coats covered cleanly without obscuring any detail, and there's hardly any chalkiness.
Thinned it down a touch and it layered over black primer without any chalky buildup, which is what usually ruins metallic reds for me. The 12ml pot covered both shoulder pads and the tail sections on my Scorpion with plenty left for touch-ups.
The matt finish on this is dead flat, no shine at all, which is exactly what I needed for the armor plates. It thins down nicely too and builds up in thin layers without going chalky.
