I've been using this for the base coat on my desert-themed guardsmen and the pigment density is impressive for a layer paint. Two thin coats over a light primer and the coverage is already solid, and it dries flat enough that washes sit nicely on top.
The matt finish on this is exactly what I wanted for my Tallarn infantry tunics, no shine at all under my desk lamp. Two thin coats over a white base gave me clean edges without any chalkiness.
Covered a whole squad of desert bases with this and barely made a dent in the 12ml pot, so it stretches further than I expected. The layers build up clean without going chalky, which is exactly what I wanted for crisp highlights.
