HG00 #046 Susanowo 1/144

The blades on this Susanowo feel incredibly sharp out of the runners, and the gold trim really pops without needing much cleanup. It was a quick, satisfying build that looks imposing on the shelf next to my other 00 kits.

The articulation on this 1/144 scale kit is fantastic for the price point—the shoulder joints move through a full range without popping out. I snapped it together in an evening and the panel lines are crisp enough that it looks great even with just a topcoat.

The blade joints on this Susanowo kit are surprisingly solid for a 1/144, so it holds those twin beam sabers in dynamic poses without flopping over. Snap assembly was smooth, and the dark blue armor panels pop nicely against the inner frame once you add a bit of panel lining.
