Bandai Hobby Mobile Suit Gundam Model Kit

From Mobile Suit Gundam comes the MG Zaku Ver.2.0, designed with a focus on the mobile suit’s development lineage.

This updated version features a dramatically expanded range of articulation, including new forward-bending poses made possible through twisting and linked-joint movement throughout the body. The shoulder armor recreates the inner frame structure, while the outer armor is molded as a single piece with integrated spikes. Both cockpit hatches can be opened, and the cockpit seat can slide left and right via a rear lever mechanism. The mono-eye camera also features a linked eye-tracking gimmick that moves with the head.

Included accessories:

  • Zaku Machine Gun

  • Zaku Bazooka

  • Heat Hawk

  • 3-Tube Leg Missile Pod

  • Additional iconic ground-combat equipment

Grace ★★★★★

I never expected the inner frame on this to feel so solid once it's snapped together. The 2.0 articulation in the legs and shoulders holds a pose way better than the older kits I've built. Panel lining took me a couple evenings and it was worth it.

Building this was a real trip through the Zaku's evolution—the way the parts reflect the development lineage is brilliantly done. The updated engineering on the 2.0 frame makes posing feel sturdy yet smooth.

Natalie ★★★★★

The articulation and detail on this Ver. 2.0 really show off the Zaku’s development lineage, and the 1/100 scale makes every panel line pop. It took me a good weekend to build, but the engineering is so solid I couldn’t stop posing it afterward.
