One thin coat over grey primer and the green is already solid, no patchiness at all. That high pigment count really does the work, and the matt finish leaves a clean surface for shading.
Covered my Death Guard shoulder pads in a single pass and the matt finish stayed perfectly flat even after the wash dried. The paint doesn't pool in the recesses like some other basecoats I've tried. Definitely my go-to for anything needing a solid green undercoat.
The pigment count really shows—one thin layer over grey primer and the green is completely solid, no patchy spots. Dries to that smooth matt finish that makes the next layer grab nicely.
