One coat over a light base and my Space Marines' armor already looks shaded and highlighted, no extra layering needed. The 18ml pot is small but a little goes a long way with how thin this stuff flows.
This blue goes on so smooth over a white base and the single coat really does the shading work for me. I use it on cloaks and it dries without wiping out the detail. 18ml feels small but a little goes a long way.
Wasn't sure contrast paint would work on my Space Marines but the 18ml pot goes further than I expected. One dip and the blue settles into the recesses while the edges stay bright. Saved me a solid hour of layering.
