The pigment is so smooth that two thin coats give me that crisp highlight edge I can never get with cheaper paints, and it dries to a proper matt finish without any chalkiness. Just wish the pot was bigger, but 12ml goes a long way when you're only doing edge highlights.
Waited ages for this to come back in stock, and it was worth it. The water-based formula goes on thin without turning chalky, so building up those crisp edge highlights on my ultramarines' shoulder pads took barely any effort. Even the 12ml pot goes further than you'd think.
Took me a while to get the hang of thinning it properly, but once I did, that smooth matt finish really shines on the shoulder pads. The coverage is surprisingly solid for a layer paint, so my highlight lines don't need three passes to pop.
