Three thin coats over a grey undercoat gave me exactly the crisp highlight I was chasing on my captain's shoulder pads. The matt finish dries quickly enough that you can layer without waiting forever between passes.
The water-based formula flows so smoothly that I barely need to thin it, and the matt finish keeps my highlights looking clean rather than shiny. The 12ml pot lasted through a whole squad.
