*The type of paint is different from the "Gundam Color" series of UG part numbers. Mixing colors is not possible.
This blue lays down so smooth straight from the bottle, and since it's water-based I just used a few drops of the special thinner to get the perfect spray consistency. Dried to a nice even coat on the kit's frame with barely any brush marks, and the color has that clean, bright pop that really makes
Thinned it with plain tap water and it flowed off the brush like a dream—no clumping, even on the second coat. The blue dried to a smooth, matte finish that really pops against white primer.
The blue is exactly what I wanted for a panel-line accent — it’s vibrant but not loud on white plastic. Cleanup was a breeze with just water, which is a big plus since I’m not into mixing thinners. This one’s going straight into my regular rotation.
