Warhammer - Miniture Wargame

  • Fafnir Rann steps from the pages of Black Library's Siege of Terra saga and onto the tabletop
  • Armed with twin power axes and decked out in ornate armour
  • Part of the Black Library Celebration 2022

The sons of Dorn are famed for their loyalty, discipline, and methodical approach. In Fafnir Rann, those qualities are coupled with a ruthless and bellicose nature that pushed him to the forefront of the Imperial Fists. His combat prowess is not measured in the Legion’s duelling floors and practice cages, but instead proven in the grim tally of corpses left by the passage of his twin power axes. Rann is often found at the speartip of Imperial Fists assault phalanxes, fighting with a stubborn determination and absolute faith in the righteousness of the Emperor’s dominion, justly earning the moniker of “Dorn’s Executioner”.

Released as part of the Black Library celebration, Fafnir Rann takes to the battlefields of the Horus Heresy with his twin axes The Headsman and The Hunter. With rules available to download for free on the Warhammer Community website, you can add this brutal and imposing warrior to your Imperial Fists Legion today and make your enemies rue the day they crossed paths with the sons of Dorn.

This kit comprises 25 plastic components with which you can assemble Fafnir Rann. It is supplied with 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

Amelia ★★★★★

The twin power axes feel properly menacing and the detail on his ornate armour is crisp enough that I didn't need to do much cleanup before painting. The pose has real weight to it, like he's mid-swing.

Robert M. ★★★★★

The articulation on his ornate armour is incredibly crisp, and those twin power axes have a satisfying heft to them once he’s assembled. He’s got real presence on the base, and the detail really brings the Siege of Terra character to life.

Alexander V. ★★★★★

Those twin power axes look even better in person, and the pose has so much presence that he instantly stands out among my other characters. Assembly was straightforward with no major gaps, and the detail on the pauldrons really pops after a bit of shading.
